Mass Wyvern is Weak for Early Game.

Also, while waiting for the wyvern, your heroes have little to do and don?t creep well.

A good strategy is then to combine it with strategies that good early on but bad in late.

That is towering.

So, quickly build tower for expansion. I learn this from Wilma Flinstone.

Then proceed as usual.

For the second hero, we can use the Tauren Chieftain. The number of peon can be 13-14.

First hero is the usual far seer.

Buy a lot of items to enchance your hero. It?s your hero that will mainly do the killing. Is 3 hero a good idea? Haven?t tried.

If the enemies use a lot of anti air, the Tauren Chieftain is a good counter. Tauren Chieftain Storm Ground can make the enemies ground to air units do nothing.

Your Far Seer, can make wolves and cast Chain Lightning often.

Now, often, the enemy will have pesky Dreadlord doing sleep.

Here is a secret of sleep. When you are sleeping, command the farseer to do what you want to do anyway. For example, say you want your Farseer to do chain lightning. Command him to do chain lightning anyway.

If the sleep level is low, chance is your Farseer will wake up soon. Once he wake up, he will automatically do the chain lightning you command.

Chance is the cool down for chain lightning will be about the same with the cool down for the sleep. So, the sleep really does nothing.

If the sleep level is high, command the Farseer to do the chain lightning anyway, and then tell one of your unit to attack the Farseer. The unit will only attack the Farseer once.

Hero don?t sleep too long.

Now, tower creeping, can also be combined with tower expand. That means more wyvern. Perhaps, some taurens?

Check the replays.

According to Patrick Masell, recently the media has bombarded Americans with images and stories concerning a popular and morally corrupt video game called “Grand Theft Auto.” GTA 3 and its sequel GTA: Vice City has sparked record sales as well as protests and news reports across the globe. Most of these reports and protests question the game’s graphic content and the effects it may have on its audience, especially teenagers.

However, GTA was not the first series of video games to create such a stir in this country. “Mortal Kombat” a fighting game known for its amount of blood and gore deaths, hit arcades in 1992 and home consoles the next year. The question of how graphic violence in video games influences this nation’s youth have been debated for over a decade. Violent video games have few, if any, adverse effects on the vast majority of its audience and those who are negatively influenced often are unstable to begin with.

Two features of video games fuel renewed interest by researchers, public policy makers, and the general public. First, the active role required by video games is a double-edged sword. It helps educational video games be excellent teaching tools for motivational and learning process reasons. But, it also may make violent video games even more hazardous than violent television or cinema. Second, the arrival of a new generation of ultraviolent video games beginning in the early 1990s and continuing unabated to the present resulted in large numbers of children and youths actively participating in entertainment violence that went way beyond anything available to them on television or in movies. Recent video games reward players for killing innocent bystanders, police, and prostitutes, using a wide range of weapons including guns, knives, flame throwers, swords, baseball bats, cars, hands, and feet. Some include cut scenes (i.e., brief movie clips supposedly designed to move the story forward) of strippers. In some, the player assumes the role of hero, whereas in others the player is a criminal.

All of these actually will help to promote violence behaviour among the children but censoring or banning video games will not solve or even help a problem that is much more deeply rooted. Parents should play a major role in coping with this matter. Parental neglect is possibly the largest factor in juvenile delinquency. Ironically, the same parents who favor censorship of video games probably don’t even realize the games their children are playing are meant for adults to begin with. There is something labeled on every game box called an ESRB rating. Acting like a rating system for movies, it determines the age group that a particular game is appropriate for. The GTA series is M or mature, suitable for people seventeen or over.

Yet that doesn’t stop parents from buying it for their underage kids. In fact, there are many instances where a teenager will be refused from buying a certain game. Their parents are brought in to confront the store manager and the manger explains the rating system, but the parent buys the game nonetheless. So basically both parents and game creator should be blame as they did not think twice before doing something.

Gemsweeper by Lobstersoft is a colorful puzzle game. I have to admit that at first my attention was drawn by the graphics and background design, which are very impressive. Then a tutorial started which vividly showed all the game rules and I felt comfortable playing within minutes.

But I think that it may have been a bit too long for a tutorial. The rules of the game are not really that difficult to understand.
The game board consists of cursed tiles and gems which are all faced down. A player needs to uncover the pattern made of gems and break the cursed tiles. There is always a numerical hint along the side and top for each row and column showing how many gems are in the line and you must find out where they are using this info.

It actually seemed very easy at first and I didn’t think I would spend much time on this game. But the further I went the more difficult and challenging the levels became. At the beginning it was 5×5 tiles of rows and columns, later 5×7, 10×10 and then more and more. I even got Time Penalty for trying to open the cursed tiles several times, and by that time I knew the game was not as easy as it had seemed at first sight. If you get Time Penalty many times you can even lose a level and then you have to start all over again. So do not click on tiles randomly, you can smash a gem with a hammer!

But what is the game goal? It is in helping Topex, a mythical statue, reconstruct the temples of his hometown of El Dorado. And you travel from one lost city to another somewhere deep in jungle earning score points and treasure hunting ranks. One thing which definitely should be mentioned is Professor McGuffog who helps you with the hints and rules and sometimes makes cheesy jokes. Also he can repair a smashed gem with the Magic glue for you (You can see how much magic glue is left - at the bottom of the game screen there are yellow pots).

Gemsweeper offers over 200 unique puzzles to solve which will definitely remind you about your childhood when you made your own puzzles in a puzzle board on a table or floor and not on a computer.

On the whole, I would say I had a lot of fun playing this particular game.

False Surrender Trick

If you have an expansion, and one of your base?s are under attack, press enter, and type in ?has left the game? (make sure you have chat on ?send to all?), but don?t send it yet! Pause the game and then send the message. People will think you have surrendered! This looks more realistic than the Fake Elimination Trick because the color of the fonts are all the same when the game is paused! I actually got fooled by this trick before!

Nuke Defense Trick - Submitted by Jesse Shuck

If a small group of your units have been chosen for a targeted nuke, and you can?t see where it?s coming from, simply use statis field with an arbiter and the covered units won?t even be scratched.

?Invisible? Supply Depot - Submitted by Snakeab

If you are a newbie or you know you?re gonna lose, and your terran?

When you get money to spare send an SCV behind a mineral patch and build a supply depot right when he starts building it, click on the SCV (not the supply depot) and press cancel. It will almost look as if it weren’t there. Then when you lose all your buildings (except the supply depot), your opponent will think the game is messed up and leave. You should probably build a few all around the map. Try to build one behind your enemies minerals.

?Invincible? Tank Glitch (Does not work with 1.08!)

This trick is used to make your siege tank have the hit points of a building! To do this, first hotkey a tank, and put it next to a building that is capable of flying. Lift off the building, and land it. While it?s landing, get your tank, move it under the landing building, and siege it. You must do this VERY QUICKLY. The tank will now have the life of the building and be invincible to melee units! With practice, you can get 5+ tanks hiding under 1 building!

Critter Trick

A VERY easy and cheap way to see your opponent?s base!

This is very simple to do?all it requires is a map with critters (preferably Kakarus because they fly) and you being Zerg. Get a Queen with 75 energy and look for a critter. Parasite the thing, and you can see what it sees! Once the critter walks (or flies) into your opponent?s base, enjoy the view! This is really cool because your opponent will not automatically attack the critter! This is because it?s a neutral unit! This neat little trick will help A LOT in a game.

Note: This will not work very well against comps because comps always kill critters. But most humans just ignore them!

Tips from the Pros:

- ALWAYS expand! Do not be afraid to!

- Against comp, ALWAYS build defense.

- Against human in a no rush game, do not build tower or choke point defense. It wastes time, money, food, and it?s not needed. Just have anti-air detection towers (eg. Missile Turrets) scattered around your base.

- When attacking, ALWAYS leave units behind in your base.

- When attacking, go for the workers, supplies, and key production buildings.

- As Zerg, build Nydus Canals in your expansions. This allows quick back-up against attacks.

- NEVER have more than 2 workers per mineral field, and 4 workers per geyser.

- Attacking with a mix of units is more effective than attacking with bunches of the same unit.

- Combining spells with attacks can greatly increase your chance of winning a battle.

- Go Overlord hunting with Devourers, Corsairs, and Valkyries. Zerg players often put all their Overlords in the back of their bases, near their primary resource area.

- Cloaked units work well against humans early in the game.

- As Terrans, ALWAYS build a comsat on your first Command Center; NEVER a Nuclear Silo.

- Against Zerg, don?t bother attacking Larva or Eggs. Attack eggs only if you have strong units.

- Trick your opponents by doing a small attack with air, and after he/she spends tons of money on anti-air, do a massive ground attack, or vise-versa.

- As Terran, don?t nuke buildings unless you have more than one nuke available. If you only have one, go for units (nuking a bunch of burrowed units kicks pompis!).

- When playing big money maps, always do frequent attacks on your opponent to wear him down.

- Attacking 1 unit at a time is a lot more effective then having all your units attack different things. To do this, use the shift key. Hold down shift while issuing commands, and your units will finish each one before moving on to the next.

- A very cheap, but useful, tactic is to parasite critters (especially kakarus because they fly). The critter will walk around the whole map for you, and when near enemy defense, it will not get attacked!

How To Lose Weight Healthy

Would you like to find out what those-in-the-know have to say about carbohydrates? The information in the article below comes straight from well-informed experts with special knowledge about carbohydrates.

Now that we’ve covered those aspects of carbohydrates, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.

It has been estimated that three out of every four overweight people are addicted to carbohydrates. But what does this mean? In essence, it means that you have too much of the hormone insulin in your system. This insulin prompts you to eat often and to consume the wrong types of foods. Some of the tell-tale signs of carbohydrate addiction include fatigue, mood swings, and migraines which can be caused by low blood sugar.

A carb addiction can lead you to consume a whole bag of pretzels at one sitting, or to indulge in half a cake at dinner time. Your body is conditioned to eat as many carbs as possible. Thus, it may seem that at times you?re never really satisfied?no matter how much or how often you eat.

On the official Carb Addicts plan, you eat two meals composed of vegetables and protein; the other meal consists of protein, vegetables that are not filled with starch, and carbohydrates. During this last meal, known as the reward meal, you can even eat dessert. The trick is to skip the carbs for two meals each day.

The authors of the program believe that, if you follow this regimen, you will lose your cravings for carbohydrates in time. If your urge to consume carbs does not disappear by the second week of the program, they recommend checking your diet to see whether you are following the program closely.

With the Carb Addicts plan, like other diet plans, you need to closely monitor your portion sizes. All of your hard work will be in vain if you allow yourself to over indulge in sweets?even if it is for only one meal a day. Also, you need to make sure that the protein you consume is not high in fat. You may want to eat fish, chicken with the skin removed, or lean meats when trying to obtain a protein source.

Another important aspect of the Carb Addicts plan is that you are not permitted artificial sweetener except during your reward meal. This can be quite a challenge, especially if you?re accustomed to sweetened coffee in the morning. However, it can be well worth the deprivation in the long run as you see those pounds melt away.

There is no set time for the reward meal; however the authors of the plan recommend that the meal take place in the evening. This is because it can take 12 to 24 hours for the body to overcome carbohydrate overload. There is also a psychological advantage to having the meal at night. It gives you something to look forward to all day long.

You should begin your reward meal with a salad, such as a Caesar salad or an Oriental salad, then divide the rest of the meal into thirds: One third should consist of low-carb vegetables, one-third protein, and one-third carbs. This formula has proven successful in enabling individuals to achieve long-term weight loss.

As with many other meal plans, the biggest challenge for those who are on the Carb Addicts Diet is the ability to stick with it. Dieting can be hard work, no matter what kind of rewards await an individual at the end of the day. Your commitment will enable you to stay with the program, even when it becomes particularly challenging.

Surf the World Wide Web, and you?ll find a number of testimonials offering glowing reviews of the Carb Addicts Diet. But you should keep in mind that results can differ from individual to individual. While some people might see rapid weight loss with the Carb Addicts plan, others may see only moderate weight loss. The success of the program may depend on your own individual physiology.

Is the Carb Addicts Diet a fad? It all depends on who you talk to. While some people see it as a significant dietary breakthrough, others view it as just a passing fancy. Medical experts disagree as to whether the Carb Addicts Diet represents sound nutrition. In the end, you, in consultation with your personal physician, will have to decide whether the Carb Addicts Diet will work for you.

The day will come when you can use something you read about here to have a beneficial impact. Then you’ll be glad you took the time to learn more about carbohydrates.

Many players go in for various video poker games for their high technology graphics, innovative animations and wild sounds. There are various video poker games available now in casinos. The list includes jacks or better, deuces wild, all American, joker poker, bonus poker, joker?s wild and king of the decks. Though all the video poker games involve standard cards to play with, the difference lies in the payout strategy and the number of decks each game uses for its play.

Every video poker game has an individual payout table in which it lists the payout for a full house and for a royal flush. According to the website poker-king.com, ?jacks or better? is the most popular amongst the video poker games and has a payout of 99.5%. This game is comparatively simple to play and gives an experience that helps to play other complicated video poker games.

Jacks or better has a good payout table making it a good paying machine and it has good full house and flush payouts. For example, for a 9/6 payout table on full house the player gets 9 counts and on a royal flush, he gets 6 counts. This video poker game involves five cards and uses a single standard deck of 52 cards. The player starts with inserting a coin and pressing the play key. A set of five cards appear on the monitor .The player can hold any card and any number of cards. After he holds the desired cards he presses deal button, all the cards tend to shuffle except the held cards. When the whole set of cards make a deal the player wins and collects his coins or points. The maximum win is obtained when you play all five coins and royal flush.

Deuces wild uses the standard single set of 52 cards. In this video poker game, all the 2?s, that is all four deuces are considered as wild cards. This becomes a bonus to the players and increases the probability to make a full house. The minimum rank for a winning hand is three of a kind. The key rule here is that one should never discard a deuce.

Joker?s wild involves a complete set of standard 52 card deck. Here joker is taken as a wild card. That is this joker can be used to substitute any other card. This becomes a bonus to the players and the chances of a winning hand are increased. The minimum rank for a winning hand becomes two pair.

Another type of video poker games is the king of the decks. It uses 5 decks of a standard set of 52 cards. The game here is to collect 5 kinds of clubs. Since this video poker game involves a large number of cards the probability of a win comparatively is less. But on the complete collection of all 5 kinds of clubs the game is over and you win the jackpot. The three most popular video poker games according to the poker-king.com website are 9/6 jack?s or better, 10/7 double bonus, and full pay deuces wild.

Backgammon has a very long history nevertheless, learning how to play backgammon is simple. It is a game of skill and one that, unfortunately, many younger people today are not all that familiar with. Still, familiarizing oneself with how to play backgammon doesn?t take very long. Thanks to the rise of the Internet, learning how to play backgammon is easier than ever before and the game of backgammon is enjoying a resurgence of popularity. You can play online, download backgammon games from the Internet, and play with other people or against the computer.

Most people are familiar with the games set up? two players, one backgammon board, and each player gets 15 chips apiece. When learning how to play backgammon, you will find that the object of game is to move the chips from the board into your home board and finally into your winning pile. The first person to successfully clear the board of all their chips wins the game. The backgammon board is divided into four parts. When looking at the board from either one of the player?s sides, the quadrant of the backgammon board closest to you is your home board, moving clockwise, you will pass over the bar and see the other half of the backgammon board, which is referred to as the outer board. Moving clockwise again to the remaining quadrant of the board is your opponent?s home board. You will notice that each quadrant has 6 points. These are the spaces that you move onto. Although the spaces are alternating colors, each chip can move onto any colored points, the color of the chip and the color of the points do not have to correspond.

The game starts with the chips in the proper place. Each player has five pieces in the first point in their home board, the one closest to the bar. They moving clockwise again, each player gets three pieces on their side of the outer board. These are placed in the point not directly next to the line, but one away from it. On the other side of the outer board, on the point furthest away from the center line, each player puts five more pieces. Moving rightwards across the board, each player puts two pieces in the opposite player?s home board nearest to their ?out? position.?

Each roll of the dice shows how many points a player is allowed to move their chips. For example, if you roll a five and a four, you can move your chips a grand total of nine points. You can move one chip four spaces and the other chip 5 spaces. You must use both of the rolls if it is legally possible for you to use them. The only caveat is that you cannot move a chip onto a space that is already occupied. If a player rolls doubles, they get double the moves, for example, if you get double 6?s, you can move 4 pieces 6 points instead of two pieces 6 points. If you have a single chip on a space and a chip from your opposing player lands on it, your piece gets sent back to the center bar and from there it has to start the journey from the other side of the board. The first person to get all their chips through the board and into the safe position wins.

Video games have been getting a bad rap. Sure, a few involve nothing more than pointing several deadly weapons at the Undead and blasting them into a bajillion pieces. And there are cases of people wasting otherwise productive hours conquering a virtual kingdom and accumulating pixelized gold instead of going out and getting a real job.

But there are many, many times when video games actually provide a noble purpose in society. When they make you a better person. Or at least, a smarter person.

Because there are video games that are actually built on logic and reasoning, and involve complex problem solving that you can take with you even after you?ve walked away from the computer screen.

Take Tetris. Okay, so it?s a couple of colored blocks set against a metallic, monotonous sound track ? but it takes some degree of analysis and quick thinking to assess the shape of the pieces dropping from the top of the screen and deciding where to put it. Factor in that the game speeds up periodically, and the pile of blocks grows with every mistake you make, until you reach a point when one wrong move can kill your chances of breaking the world record?and your brain starts working pretty fast. Faster, in fact, than you would normally use it in the course of the day; admit it, most of the stuff you do at the office is pretty mind numbing, anyway. Between sharpening pencils and performing lightning-fast spatial analysis exercises, Tetris looks like it?s actually good for you.

And then there are the memory games. Ever spent 20 minutes looking for your keys? Or stood at the center of the parking lot, trying to remember if you parked on the same floor? Well, memory games can work that brain muscle so you don?t forget the important stuff (and yes, that includes your wedding anniversary). Studies show that memory isn?t really a function of IQ; it?s a skill: the ability to organize information in your brain, and then retrieve it through a series of memory-triggers. Not all of this is conscious (although you can take active steps to improve memory by researching on what methods you can use). But like all skills, it improves with use. Hence, memory games. The best part about memory games is that they?re actually fun (as opposed to simply memorizing a list of the capitals of each state, or the periodic table of elements) and even relaxing. Yes, relaxing. You?re doing something you love and getting smarter at the same time. Not a bad way to spend a 20 minute break between meetings.

And then there are the strategy games. Conquering the world, running a city, shaping an empire from a handful of barbarian villages to being the first country to set up a space station on Mars?obviously, these aren?t just random point and shoot games. They?re about the same skills you learn in business school, but with cooler graphics: how to manage resources, motivate people, and set goals.

So yes, video games can make you smart. Tell that to Mom next time she tells you to hit the books.
